Good morning!~
It’s hard to believe that we are half way through November already, but here we are! It’s time to start thinking about the holidays, and I don’t know about you- but I am so very ready for some coziness and cheer!
To help in that regard, I have several new teas in my Etsy shop to share with you, with more coming at the end of the week!
Newly stocked are Williamsburg Autumn, Jamestown Gingerbread, Yorktown Yuletide and Williamsburg Winter. These are all wonderfully decadent, individually wrapped tea bags in flavors that help you savor the season.
Williamsburg Autumn is a fragrant pumpkin spice in hard to find DECAF.
Jamestown Gingerbread is perhaps the best ginger-flavored tea I’ve ever had, and its perfect with a spiced cookie or as a treat in itself.
Yorktown Yuletide is perhaps my favorite of these teas with its notes of rich chocolate and hazelnut.
Williamsburg Winter is a surprisingly refreshing take on a winter tea as it features citrus fruit- much like the iconic wreaths of Williamsburg!
These teas made their autumn debut just in time for the Yorktown Tea Festival, which took place the first week in November in Yorktown, VA this year! I was so thrilled to be able to attend, and I even have some posters from the event in my Etsy Shop to share with you! You can see it above, it measures 11x14” and fits a standard frame.
I was at the Tea Festival on its opening day selling art and also had our tea! I was able to meet Winette Jeffrey, who is the owner and visionary of Celebrate Cooking who produces this tea. We had such a great time together at the festival, and I was thrilled to also be there with some of my dear friends who flew or drove in for the occasion!
I was in Virginia for several days with my friends Winnie, Patricia and Grandma Pat and we had the best time. It was a childhood dream come true to ramble down the streets of Williamsburg. What an amazing place! I feel like we really just scratched the surface of getting the whole Williamsburg experience, but what did I see and do was lovely!
I was even able to meet Stephanie, a folk art and CGS friend from Instagram who let us know where to find the fife and drum band and gave me the most wonderful gift of a Jefferson Cup!
I took a ton of photos on this trip, a few of which you can find here:
This trip definitely inspired me, and I can’t wait to create more art to share with you!
Until then, I hope you have a great week and-
Take Joy!

I was bored to death by Colonial Williamsburg as a teenager and loved it as an adult when I visited earlier this year - even though I was pushing a stroller that couldn't enter most of the buildings! Looks like an incredible event.
These teas are gorgeous!
